Through the Storm – Sailing Toward a New Dawn is a painting about those seasons when life feels shattered, and the courage to keep steering forward the hope until the sun returns.

Story behind the painting

This painting was born from a very personal storm.
A relative of mine went through a period when her business almost collapsed. I pooled all my money to help her through that difficult time – and that journey became the inspiration for this painting.
The ship is her – and also any of us – when life suddenly turns dark. The waves are debt, worry, sleepless nights. The sky is heavy, but on the right side of the painting there is a soft opening in the clouds and a pale sun that refuses to disappear. That is the promise that:
No storm lasts forever.
The future is still ahead, not behind.
With a strong heart, hard work, and the grace of God, we can pass through even the hardest sea.

Bức tranh này được vẽ từ một cơn bão rất riêng.
Một người thân của tôi đã có thời điểm công việc kinh doanh gần như sụp đổ. Tôi dồn hết số tiền mình có để cùng cô ấy vượt qua khổ nạn. Khi nhìn lại, hình ảnh hiện lên trong đầu tôi là một con tàu bé nhỏ giữa biển lớn – và từ đó bức tranh ra đời.
Con tàu là người ấy – và cũng là mỗi chúng ta – khi cuộc sống bất ngờ tối sầm lại. Sống là nợ nần, lo âu, những đêm dài mất ngủ. Bầu trời nặng nề, nhưng ở phía xa bên phải bức tranh, mây bắt đầu tách ra, để lộ vầng mặt trời nhạt nhưng không chịu tắt. Đó là lời nhắc rằng:
Không có cơn bão nào kéo dài mãi.
Tương lai vẫn luôn ở phía trước, không phải phía sau.
Với trái tim mạnh mẽ, nỗ lực bền bỉ và ơn lành từ Trời Phật, ta có thể vượt qua cả cơn bảo lớn dữ dội nhất của biển khơi .
